Svedbro Smide is a family-owned production company located in Gnarp, in Hälsingland.
The company’s history begins at the end of the 19th century with the blacksmith Gustav Tiderman, who in 1878 was a waterfall smithh in Svedbro, by Annån which crosses the road between Gnarp and Bergsjö, about a mile from the village Gränsfors.
During the 100+ years that the company has existed, we have built up a business around forging production and forging knowledge, with a focus on quality and environmental responsibility. Our business is today divided into five areas: Svedbro Kofot, “Trädfällriktaren” Stalpen, Breaking tool, Workshop and Special & Lego.
